Friday Night Throwback: Kindred The Family Soul - "Far Away"

Native Philadelphia, neo-soul duo, Kindred the Family Soul burst onto the music scene in 2003 with their debut album, Surrender to Love, which includes their debut single and this week's Friday Night Throwback "Far Away". The track, an honest ode to the trials and tribulations of young, married life would peak at #6 on the U.S. R&B Recurrent Airplay list. The duo, who just released their 5th album A Couple Friends last year, were discovered by fellow Philly singer Jill Scott via the city's underground neo-soul movement.
