Solo-life after Danity Kane and Dirty Money ain’t so bad for Dawn Richard!
First, her EP “Armor On” hit No. 1 on the iTunes R&B Albums chart. Now Dawn has made a Youtube video to announce she’s signed a deal with Altavoz Distribution to have the physical copies of her debut album Goldenheart distributed globally. The deal solidifies Richard will become a certified household name. “We have just signed with Altavoz Distribution, which will allow us to have the record GoldenHeart in every store—from Best Buy to Target to the mom and pop stores,” Dawn explains. “This is exactly what we needed to expand the brand. It’s a movement.”
The album’s original release date was for October 16th, but the date will be pushed back to accommodate the worldwide demands. “Don’t be sad. It’s gonna be a really great thing for us,” she tells her fans in the video. A new release date for Goldenheart will be revealed on Monday October 15th.
