Friday Night Throwback: Karyn White - "Superwoman"

Written and produced by the trio of L.A. Reid, Babyface and Daryl Simmons, Karyn White's 1989 hit "Superwoman"--an ode to trifling men who take their women for granted--would become the second U.S. top ten hit and second U.S. R&B number-one hit for the singer. The second single from her self-titled debut album, Karyn White (1988), the popular track would later be covered by everyone from Gladys Knight to Malaysian Idol season 1 winner Jaclyn Victor in 2006.
