Throwback Thursday: Bobby Hebb - "Sunny"

Nashville, TN singer/songwriter Bobby Hebb scored a huge hit in 1966 with "Sunny", a song written as a reaction to the murder in 1963 of his brother, a day after President Kennedy's assassination. Recorded in New York City after demos were made with the record producer Jerry Ross, "Sunny" reached No. 3 on the R&B charts, No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 12 in the United Kingdom.
