Throwback Thursday: Ashford & Simpson - "Solid"

The first single off their 1984 album Solid, husband-and-wife songwriting duo Ashford & Simpson scored a top 20 hit on the U.S. R&B chart with the self-produced and written "Solid", which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number three on the UK Singles Chart in 1985.
