Written by Gene McFadden, James McKinley, Linda Vitali and recorded by longtime actress and singer Melba Moore, "A Little Bit More", from Moore's 1986 album A Lot of Love, featured added vocals by her former back-up singer and labelmate, Freddie Jackson. The song would also serve as Moore's most successful on the R&B/soul charts, where it spent one week at number one.
