Beyoncé Drops New Album Tonight with No Warning

Mediaite.com:
Is this the future of music?

Without any forewarning, American pop/R&B icon Beyoncé dropped her new self-titled album, featuring 14 songs and a cast of support from husband Jay Z and star performers like Drake and Frank Ocean.

There’s also a track titled “Blue,” billed as featuring her daughter Blue Ivy on vocals — likely just some goo-goo’ing over a song that will obviously be about her first child.

The album-drop shocked pretty much everyone. Need proof? Just go on Twitter and look at what the average person is talking about. It’s pretty much all Beyoncé right now.

It’s a risky move dropping an album around midnight on a Thursday night, but one has to wonder whether this strategy is the sort of move only the Beyoncés of the world could pull off. And boy does this stifle any of those pesky “leaks,” because, hey, no one had a clue it was coming out.

Click here to check out the tracklist and purchase the album (plus bonus content) for $15.99.

Day 26 Reuniting For Tour

TMZ.com:
Day 26 -- the boy band masterminded by Sean "Diddy" Combs on MTV's "Making the Band 4" -- IS TOTALLY REUNITING FOR A NEW TOUR ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for Day 26 tells us ... the band, which was handpicked by Diddy on the 2007 show, is planning a 30-city tour starting in the Spring of 2014 ... and it's gonna include ALL of the original members.

Back in the day, D26 produced 2 albums before trouble began. Qwanell "Que" Mosley was kicked out of the group in 2009 because of disagreements with management.

The whole band broke up in the summer of 2012 ... and there've been rumors of a reunion ever since. It wasn't until Que climbed on board that it became a reality.

As for Diddy ... we're told he's NOT part of the resurrected band ... but he's already given the boys his blessing.
