Throwback Thursday: Faith Evans - "I Love You"
With Faith Evans recently announcing a release date (May 19) for her highly anticipated upcoming duets album The King & I, which serves as a tribute to her late husband Notorious BIG, this week's Throwback Thursday is dedicated to the veteran singer/songwriter and former Bad Boy star.
2002's "I Love You", produced by P. Diddy, Mario Winans and Buckwild and written by Evans, Anthony Best, Bobby Springsteen, Jennifer Lopez, Isaac Hayes and Michael Jamison, was a huge commercial success. Released as the 3rd single from Evans 3rd studio album Faithfully, "I Love You" peaked at number fourteen on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at number two on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, marking Evans' highest-charting single on the latter chart since 1999's "Never Gonna Let You Go".
