Friday Night Throwback: Sade - "The Sweetest Taboo"

A song about the height of sexual pleasure, "The Sweetest Taboo", the lead single from Sade's second album Promise (1985), reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 1986, remaining in the top 40 for 13 weeks. Written by Sade along with Martin Ditcham and produced by frequent collaborator Robin Millar, "The Sweetest Taboo" is also noted for the line "There's a quiet storm", a reference to the Quiet Storm radio format, which is filled with baby-making music like this song.
