TLC Releases New Biopic, Says They Never Broke Up
Wetpaint.com:
They may not want no scrubs, but TLC
is hoping to tap into the nostalgia trend that's been going on with '90s
groups in the past few years. At the 2013 VMAs, Tionne "T Boz" Watkins
and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas introduced Drake's performance, but now
they're ready to debut some of their own new material.
The ladies are releasing a biopic called CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, a VH1 original movie. The movie's tagline reads, "This is how a group can sell 10 million albums and still be broke."
Though this film will likely cover TLC's rise and fall, Chilli, and T Boz claim they've never left the spotlight.
"We never broke up," T Boz told People Magazine. "We've been doing shows overseas every year and have been busy being mommies. Chilli and I see each other all the time."
Sadly, the girl group lost its third member in 2002 when Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes was killed in a car crash in Honduras.
"She's always with us," Chilli said. "There's never a moment
when we don't think about her, especially when we're doing performances.
I still miss her very much."

CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story premieres Monday, October 21 at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.
